CC Everyone, Inc adopts the NCRC Code of Civil Discourse:
The Code of Civil Discourse was first drafted as a tool for local governments and agencies in 2015 and is intended to serve as a guide for facilitating civil, respectful discussions of opposing views during public meetings.
We believe that the respectful and constructive airing of different points of view is critical to successful dialogue.
We pledge to engage in respectful and constructive civil discourse, therefore:

Where corporate board members are parties to litigation involving matters of public interest, funding supports the corporation’s broader civil rights enforcement mission and related advocacy infrastructure. All actions are undertaken in furtherance of community protection and institutional accountability.
The corporation operates with governance oversight by its Board of Directors, including the Founder/CEO and Treasurer.
Article X – Public Interest Legal Advocacy
The Corporation may engage in and financially support litigation, administrative proceedings, mediation, arbitration, and other lawful dispute resolution mechanisms when such actions further the Corporation’s charitable and public advocacy purposes.
The Board of Directors shall determine by formal resolution whether any proposed legal action:

Advances the Corporation’s mission;

Serves a broader public or community interest; and
-
Complies with applicable nonprofit and corporate governance laws.
Where a Director or Officer is personally involved in a matter, such individual shall disclose the conflict and recuse themselves from voting on related funding decisions.
All expenditures shall be documented and maintained in accordance with fiduciary standards.
